Health Department: Rabid Bat Discovered in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The Fresno County Health Department is warning residents to beware of rabid bats. A dead bat was found in Downtown Fresno last week, has and tested positive for rabies. Goose Fire Burns 2,020 Acres Near Prather

PRATHER, CA (KMJ) – A wild fire south of Prather has burned 2,000 acres and threatened 400 homes.  The “Goose Fire” began Saturday afternoon, about 30 miles northeast of Fresno, along Highway 168.  It’s now 30% contained. 3 homes have been destroyed by the blaze.
