Puppy Stolen From Fresno Girl Battling Brain Tumor

PUPPY STOLEN

(KMJ) – Zurylisa Garcia has a condition known as Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma – or DIPG.  And It has left her with a brain tumor that’s inoperable.

Now, the girl’s family says she is dealing with the loss of her best friend – a puppy.  Her mom Jessica says she dog out the front door of the family’s Central Fresno apartment Friday night to go to relieve itself.  But, minutes later, there was no sign of the pup.

“She doesn’t ever leave. She’ll run out, use the restroom and come back in,” Garcia says. “I’m pretty sure someone grabbed her while she was out there.”

Garcia has taken to social media to share pictures of the pup.

“I just can’t believe anybody would take her,” Garcia says.

The family planned to have Frida microchipped this week. The pup was not wearing a collar it had been bathed just hours before disappearing.
