If you are a Sprint or Verizon customer – you could have some money coming your way thanks to a cramming settlement – but you only have a few days to file.
Both wireless carriers agreed to pay $158 million to customers to settle claims with the government.
Current and former subscribers who paid for unauthorized texts beginning July 1, 2010 can file a request.
Charges for those texts, for things like horoscopes or sports scores, were buried in bill in activity known as “cramming.”
Verizon and Sprint both have online claim forms, and customers have until Thursday, December 31, 2015, to claim refunds.
