FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A ballot measure to impose price controls on state drug purchases has qualified for the 2016 ballot, potentially leading to an expensive battle with the pharmaceutical industry.

The California Drug Price Relief Act would tie those purchases, to prices paid by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
