(KMJ) Robert Piceno made a run for it, but in the end, he was not fast enough to elude capture by Fresno Co. Sheriffs Deputies. The 37 year old suspected gang member triggered a lockdown of Scandinavian Middle School Wednesday morning when he allegedly kidnapped and assaulted his girlfriend. Investigators say he forced the woman into his car and punched her in the head, causing “visible traumatic injury.”
He fled from FPD on foot near Sierra Vista Ave and Fountain Way into an apartment complex. About a half hour later, deputies responded to another call of domestic violence on E. Shields. They say Piceno made a break for it, but was eventually captured and turned over to Fresno Police.
Piceno was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for domestic violence and also on a misdemeanor warrant for domestic violence. He was also charged with felony domestic violence and kidnapping for the incident which occurred at Cedar and Dayton Avenues. He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail.
