FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — 62% of Americans have been diagnosed with at least one chronic health condition, according to a new Transamerica Center for Health Studies survey.

The most common conditions include obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes.

Caucasians are most likely to have received such a diagnosis, while Asians are the least likely.

Researchers say it’s leading to ever-increasing health insurance expenses.
