FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A mere 11% of Americans approve of the job being done by members of Congress.

According to Gallup, it’s the worst rating so far this year, and is only mildly better than the all-time low of 9%, seen two years ago.

Additionally, the 86% disapproval rating, ties the highest figure in Gallup’s 41-year trend.

Even though the GOP controls both houses, Republicans are the least approving of Congress.

The recent change in leadership doesn’t appear to have had any significant effects.
