Study: 1 In 4 Employees Would Quit For 10% Raise

WORKERS

(KMJ) – Study: 1 in 4 employees would quit for a 10% raise.
The Seattle-based company TinyPulse released a new report showing the number one reason people love work is not money, but instead is peers and colleagues.

The old saying was, “You don’t quit your job, you quit your boss.”

The new adage is, “You don’t quit your boss, you’re quitting your co-workers.”

TinyPulse says money matters, too.

23% of respondents would switch to a competitor for just a 10% raise.

TinyPulse says those respondents might be more motivated by pay or could be unhappy enough with their current work culture to jump ship.

Only 25% of respondents say they have the opportunity for professional growth – bad news for workplaces with a lot millennials, who want those kinds of chances.
