FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A 12-member group studying the future of the California State University recommends annual tuition increases, for both residents and out-of-state students.
The LA Times says it’s uncovered a report, which argues that relying on state funding for the 430,000-student system is no longer reliable.
The group calls for annual tuition increases of about 2%, in an effort to avoid larger increases down the road.
CSU has five campuses here in the valley: Fresno, Turlock, Bakersfield, Sacramento, and Chico.
