FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The workers want to hear from the boss more frequently.

According to a new Robert Half survey, 40% of professionals say their managers never discuss the future of their career with them.

Experts say supervisors who fail to discuss career progression miss an opportunity to engage and retain their team.

They advise periodic checks-ins, asking about their employees’ objectives, and being up front about expectations.
