FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — 2015 is shaping up to be one the best years for residential real estate in nearly a decade.

Inventory is still tight, but not overly tight, interest rates are low, and prices continue to increase.

The Central Valley, one of the areas hit hardest by the mortgage meltdown, appears to be have joined the rest of the state’s recovery.

Fresno, Madera, Merced, Tulare, San Bernardino, and Shasta are the only counties in which median-income buyers can afford a home that is more expensive, than the actual median home price in the given county.
