Hanford Man Leads Police On Chase

A Hanford man racks-up quite a few charges — evading police, felony vandalism, assault with a deadly weapon, and obstruction of a peace officer.

Just after 9:00, Tuesday night, Hanford police officers were in the area of White and Cameron when they saw a gray Honda driving recklessly.

Prior to this, two separate reports came in that a gray Honda had collided with two other cars.

Officers tried to stop the driver, 46 year-old Paul Sotelo – who took off, leading police officers on a chase through the east side of Hanford.

He ran stoplights and then put up a fight before he was taken into custody.

It was found that Sotelo was involved in ramming the two other vehicles.

He was booked into the Kings County Jail on multiple charges.
