Survey: 50% of Americans Deal with Financial Anxiety

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Anxiety, caused by a shortage of money.

50% of Americans say they experience exactly that, according to Gallup’s annual Economy and Personal Finance Survey.

Not having enough for retirement tops their list of concerns, followed by not being able to pay off credit cards, or being capable of paying for medical care.

Gallup says women and non-whites, the two major subgroups with lower income levels, report worrying significantly more than their counterparts.
