Brock Guzman’s father had placed the sleeping boy into the backseat of the idling family car at about 4:45 a.m. PST and returned to the home to gather belongings. When the father returned, the car was missing and police issued an Amber Alert.

Fairfield police found an unfamiliar bicycle near the abduction site and believe the car thief didn’t know the boy was in the backseat.
