FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The Golden State has received a failing grade, just as it did in 2014, in an annual survey examining small business friendliness.

That’s according to the San Francisco-based ThumbTack.com, who took a look at the ease of starting a business, taxes, regulations, and employment.

The most friendly states to small business, the survey finds, are Texas, New Hampshire, Utah, Louisiana, and Colorado.
