Valley Children’s Hospital is recipient of another large gift.
Its Emergency Department Waiting Room has been renamed after two of the hospitals largest supporters – Manuel and Kayte Mancebo.
Kayte died last November, but her husband Manuel wanted to honor her love for the hospital.
CEO Todd Suntrapek: “Her husband is continuing on in her legacy. Valley Children’s was very important to her, and with this gift it will allow us to fulfill our mission which is improve the health and well-being of kids.
Manuel Mancebo (pictured above left), who owns King County Truck Lines, dedicated a one million dollar planned giving commitment.
The couple had a history of generosity, donating over $360,000 to the hospital.
