
FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – California joins 23 other states, suing the Trump Administration over frozen education funding
The lawsuit is to force the release of more than $6 billion for after-school, and summer programs.
Attorney General Rob Bonta says California was due $939 million for academic programs that benefit “disadvantaged” children.
AG Bonta posting on X that’ President Trump can shout “America First” all he wants, but his anti-education agenda will only ensure we come in dead last.
This makes California’s 31st lawsuit against the Trump Administration.
