City of Fresno Names New Economic Development Director

FRESNO, CA – City Manager Georgeanne White is pleased to announce the selection of Cliff Long as the City of Fresno’s new Economic Development Director. With a distinguished career dedicated to driving economic growth and building vibrant communities, Long brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to his new role.

Cliff Long most recently served in Nampa, Idaho, and has also held key economic development leadership roles in Renton, Washington, and Boise, Idaho. Throughout his career, Long has been recognized as an accomplished executive with deep expertise in strategic planning, public-private partnerships, and the cultivation of high-performing teams.

“Cliff Long is exactly the kind of visionary leader Fresno needs right now,” said City Manager Georgeanne White. “He is a seasoned economic development professional with the skills and passion to create meaningful economic opportunities for our residents.
