Man Dies Hours After Shooting During Fight In Northwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — A man has died following a shooting that also injured another man in Northwest Fresno.

It happened in the same area where gunfire also erupted weeks earlier.

Police say two men got into a fight Tuesday afternoon near Fairmont and Holt.

Moments later, ShotSpotter picked up two rounds.

Officers found one man in his 30’s who had been shot in the upper body.

He was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he died hours later.

The second victim was released from the hospital.

Back on April 17, just across the street, 44-year-old David Holliman was in a parked car when two men approached and one shot him several times.

Holliman spent a week and a half fighting for his life in the hospital before he died.

So far, no suspect information has been released in either case.
