CLOVIS, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — After weeks of community meetings and debates, Clovis Unified board members will review the final proposed school boundaries map on Wednesday afternoon.
It was released for community review last week.
In January, the district gathered feedback on possible adjustments to its 198-square-mile boundary.
The study looked at the under-capacity and over-capacity schools and anticipated growth areas.
This final map proposal will be considered for approval on April 17.
Parents can also submit input on the district’s website.
You can view the proposed maps by clicking here.
District administrators say boundary changes are necessary to ease overcrowding.
If approved, changes would go into effect starting in the Fall of 2025.
