FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — 16-year-old Brianna Ramirez is in a medically-induced coma, after she was struck by bullet in the eye last week.
The incident occurred last Thursday, on Fett Street in Parlier, as she was being driven home.
Her aunt, Alice Acosta, tells KMJ, “This could be your daughter, your granddaughter, or your niece. Somebody, please help us.”
Patty Cardoso, a close friend of the family, adds, “This has got stop. We never know when it can happen to us.”
The reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible has risen to $9,000.
