MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ) — An Oakhurst man is facing murder charges after Madera County Sheriff’s deputies found his wife’s body Tuesday night.
They were called to a home on the 40000 block of Highway 49 in Oakhurst, after 58-year-old John Kingcade reported he found his wife dead at their home.
“Following interviews and extensive processing of the evidence at the scene, detectives determined the female was a victim of homicide,” the Sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Kingcade was arrested and booked at the Madera County Jail on one count of murder.
His bail is set at $1 million.
