FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Charges have been filed in the murder of Janessa Ramirez.
22-year-old Brian Cooks is facing charges of murder, shooting an occupied vehicle, and being a felon in possesion of a gun.
Fresno police say Cooks fired the bullet that struck 9-year-old Janessa last month.
Rival gang member Isaac Stafford was arrested last week.
