Warrant Leads To Nearly 3,000 Illegal Marijuana Plants In Merced County

(KMJ) — Nearly 3,000 illegal marijuana plants were recently recovered by investigators in Merced County.

The Merced County Sheriff’s Office says those with the Sheriff Enforcement Team (SET) issued multiple warrants last week within the county and recovered 168 pounds of finished product.

In total, deputies say 2,806 illegal marijuana plants were recovered by investigators.

“The SET Team will continue to enforce the cultivation laws regarding illegal marijuana,” said the Merced County Sheriff’s Office.
