FRESNO (KMJ) — Two men have been arrested after after a gun was used to threaten people inside Fresno’s Westwoods BBQ.
The incident took place on Tuesday around 8.30pm.
Fresno Police say 23 year old Bradley Curtis was armed with a glock semi-automatic handgun inside the restaurant and pointed it at someone in his group.
“Looks like they were drinking inside the restaurant and consumed quite a bit of alcohol. And it seems like there were all associates. The victim somehow knows Curtis”, says Fresno PD’s Lieutenant Joe Gomez.
“There were a lot of people there at the restaurant. They were being loud, they were disturbing other people. It looks like he even pointed the gun at people not involved with his group, at other people that were in the restaurant.
“I think that alcohol played a big factor in a lot of what happened here”.
Lieutenant Gomez added that Curtis was then tackled someone who’d witnessed the whole thing.
But in the meantime, Officers say Curtis’ associate Dillon Domenici had grabbed the gun and driven away from the scene. Domenici was eventually tracked down and cited for resisting arrest.
Bradley Curtis is now in Fresno County Jail.
