FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — During the NFL preseason, millions of fantasy football fans are hard at work; that is, tending to their imaginary teams.
An estimated 66% of fantasy football participants are employed full time, and often manage their teams during work hours.
According to Challenger, Gray & Christmas, the distraction could cost employers nearly $16 billion, over the course of 17 weeks.
However, some researchers believe that minor periods of being unproductive throughout the day, can actually help employees be more productive in the long run.
