(KMJ) – Tokyo Summer Olympic Games silver medalist Jenna Prandini will be officially welcomed home to the city of Clovis.
On Friday, August 27th, the track star will be celebrated during Clovis High’s football game against Bakersfield.
Here are the details, as released by the Clovis Unified School District:
Olympic medalist and Clovis High graduate Jenna Prandini will join in the Cougars’ pregame festivities that include riding in on a fire truck and performing the official coin toss.
Prandini will be celebrated again on field during the halftime show by Clovis Mayor Jose Flores and Clovis Unified Superintendent Eimear O’Farrell, Ed.D., with proclamations and congratulations from their respective entities, and a short video of her achievements will be shown.
