New Regional Conservation Partnership Program Helps Various Projects in U.S.

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack announced 115 high-impact projects across the U.S. and Puerto Rico will receive more than 370-million dollars of Federal funding as part of the new USDA Regional Conservation Partnership Program.

Vilsack says this is an entirely new approach to conservation efforts.

These partnership empower communities to set priorities and lead the way on important conservation efforts in their area and also encourage private sector investment.

He says these efforts keep the land resilient and water clean while also promoting economic growth.
