(KMJ) – Fresno County Sheriff’s Detectives arrest a Fresno man after learning he groomed and abused his girlfriend’s young daughter.
In late January, investigators say they received information 41-year-old Brent Cox groomed the 12-year-old daughter of the woman he was dating so that he could sexually abuse her. The Sheriff’s Office adds Detectives found evidence confirming these sex acts had taken place over the span of several month.
Cox was arrested at his Fresno home Wednesday. He was then booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple felony charges related to sexual assault of a minor and intimidating or dissuading a victim. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office adds he is not eligible for bail.
