(KMJ) – A 25-year old Valley homeless man is now in custody, accused of beating up his own mother and stealing her car.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office say the mother of Francisco Gil picked him up Monday in Fresno and drove him to Winton Park in Sanger. Deputies say Francisco is homeless and suffers from mental health issues, and his mother wanted to feed him and get him cleaned up.
But, once they got to the park Gil reported punched his mom several times in the head and stole her car. Deputies later tracked him down still driving the 2014 Chevy Malibu and arrested him for felony carjacking.
