(KMJ) – A relatively new Clovis Christmas tradition will be coming to end.
The founders of Santa Claus Lane announced through its Facebook page Monday that it will be shutting down – permanently.
The post says that putting the display of lights together takes a tremendous amount of effort each year. The amount of effort needed usually isn’t a problem, but it was just too much to handle on top of the coronavirus outbreak.
For the past five Christmas seasons in Clovis, dozens of homes in the neighborhood were covered in lights, and synced up to music.
The show was always free, but donations for local non-profits were accepted.
