(KMJ) – Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office arrest a 30-year old Fresno woman for allegedly embezzling $27,000 from a Sanger Unified Elementary School.
Sandy Rojas served as the PTA treasurer at Lone Star Elementary School. But staff at that school filed a report stating she stole thousands of dollars donated to the Parent-Teacher Association for the school’s children and used it for her personal expenses.
Wednesday she was booked on a felony embezzlement charge but was released hours later under California’s current emergency Zero Dollar Bail Rule. Now Rojas is scheduled to appear in court August 6th.
