FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — PG&E is admitting to more inappropriate e-mails between them, and the state agency who is supposed to be regulating them.
The messages date back to 2010, in the days after the deadly San Bruno Pipeline Explosion.
Investigators say they show company officials sought to have penalties reduced, and gain the public utilities commission’s support for proposed rate hikes.
The scandal brought down commission president Michael Peevey, as well as a PG&E executive.
But the utility claims they’ve “learned from this experience,” and that their goal is to have a world-class regulatory model.
