FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – August is back to school month, and the time to slow down in school zones.
The Fresno Police Department is reminding the public to be especially cautious while traveling in school zones.
The operation “No Recess for Safety” begins on Monday, August 12, 2019.
Uniformed traffic officers and school resource officers will be saturating school zones across the Fresno Unified School District.
Central Unified Schools open on Wednesday, August 14.
Monday, August 19, officers will begin to monitor Clovis Unified Schools that are in the city limits of Fresno.
