FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Mayor Lee Brand has signed off on a nearly $1.2 billion budget for Fiscal Year 2020.
It includes more than $348 million for the general fund.
The mayor tells KMJ that he has a short amount of time to achieve his goals:
Brand issued 7 line-item vetoes, including funding for the Immigration Affairs Committee, as well as the proposed Advance Peace Project, which was criticized as an effort to pay criminals to not commit crimes.
