Man Accused of Shooting Fresno Co. Deputy Enters Plea

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The man accused of wounding a Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy last week near Tollhouse has entered a plea.

57-year-old Michael Congdon of Clovis has pled ‘not guilty’ to shooting 49-year-old deputy John Erickson in the leg, during a dispute over property lines.

Congdon faces more than 6 decades in prison if found guilty.
