2 Workers Killed in AG Accident in Western Fresno County, Identifies Released

 

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Identifies have been released of two workers killed in an AG accident in Western Fresno County over the weekend.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s /Coroner’s Office says 66-year-old Arnold Torres, of Lemoore was a mechanic.

31-year-old Angel Barajas of Cantua Creek was an operator.

They both died Saturday morning in an almond orchard in Cantua Creek.

 

 

Firefighters were called to the field in the area of Derrick and Harland.

Workers told first responders that the two men had been repairing an almond shaker, when an arm supporting it fell and crushed both of them.

Cal OSHA is now investigating.
