FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Services Taking Place for Newman Police Corporal Ronil Singh.
Corporal Singh was shot to death on December 26.
VIewings took place in Newman and Modesto on Friday. Crowds stood by to pay their respects while Modesto Police led a procession as his body was moved from Salas Brothers Funeral Home in Modesto to the West Side Theater in Newman, for an Honor Guard viewing.
His memorial service starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan 5, at CrossPoint Community Church in Modesto at 1301 12th Street.
Singh’s body will be transported by a procession to his final resting place at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson at 900 Santa Fe Avenue.
The vehicle will travel by way of 11th Street and Yosemite Boulevard.
Around noon on Saturday, Singh’s casket will be brought back to Modesto, where another viewing will be held at Salas Brothers Funeral Home on Scenic Drive.
