FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A reverend, who made a citizen’s arrest after a hot air balloon landed on the lawn of Fresno’s Family Community Church this past weekend during Clovis Fest, is being defended by his church.
The pilot, Gale Mott, tells KMJ that he’s been cited for trespassing.
In a statement, Family Community Church it’s experienced several hot air balloon landings over the years, and has repeatedly asked that pilots stay off of their property, due to legal and safety issues.
