(KMJ) – The Porterville Police Department continue to search for a suspect who tried to shoot several people, including two children, with a hunting rifle over the weekend.
Officers say 27-year old Mario Estrella got into an argument with with a person around 8:30 a.m. Sunday on the 100 block of North F Street in Porterville. As that person tried to run away from him, Estrella reportedly grabbed the rifle and fired multiple times. A 4 and 6-year old were standing with the victim when the shots were fired.
Luckily, no one was injured.
Officers say Estrella has very distinctive tattoos on his left forearm (pictured above) and is now wanted on three counts of attempted murder. Now, with knowledge of Mario Estrella’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Portervile Police Department at (559) 782-7400.
