FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A Tulare man is sentenced to life in prison for child molestation.
On Thursday in the Tulare County Superior Court, 69 year-old Oscar Moreno received 40 years-to-life in prison for child molestation.
On June 15, 2018, Moreno pleaded no contest to three counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, one count of digital penetration of a child under the age of ten, and one count of oral copulation of a child under the age of ten.
Each count is a felony and considered a strike offense.
The crimes occurred between April 22, 2011, and December 4, 2017, against four minor female victims.
In addition to his sentence, Moreno must register as a sex offender for life.
