(KMJ) – A new poll from the Public Policy Institute of California shows one candidate seeking to succeed Jerry Brown as California’s next Governor, with a clear, early lead.
In numbers released Wednesday, Democrat and current Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom leads Republican businessman John Cox by a margin of 55 to 31 percent.
The poll also shows 9-percent of those surveyed remain undecided ahead of November’s election.
