Gap Awarded $4.5M Tax Credit For Expansion in Fresno & SF

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Gap has been awarded a $4.5 million dollar tax credit for its expansion in Fresno and San Francisco.

Governor Brown’s “Go-biz” Economic Development Office approved $76 million in tax credits for 63 companies to help create new jobs in California.

Gap plans to create over 500 new jobs as it expands its San Francisco Headquarters, and plans a new e-commerce fulfillment center near Fresno Yosemite International Airport.

Gap will invest $100 million in the expansion.
