FRESNO CA (KMJ) – Fresno Police are asking for help finding the person who gunned down a 20 year-old outside of a church.
The shooting took place back on February 10th, just outside the Pilgrim Church of God in Christ –on Lee near Geary.
It just after 10:00 am that Zurich Chatman was shot in the head in front of the Southwest Fresno church.
Chatman was left in critical condition and later died of his injuries.
Police say he was not a gang member and likely a victim of mistaken identity.
Police Chief Jerry Dyer and Chatman’s family are seeking the public’s help with information regarding this case.
