Explosive Device Detonated, One Man Arrested In Central Fresno

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – An explosive device was found in a Central Fresno home, close to a school.

Fresno Police were connecting a probation search around 9:30am Tuesday, at a house on Fruit and Santa Ana, just south of Shaw.

Police arrested 38-year-Adam Kausim.

During the search, some sort of PVC pipe-type explosive device with capped ends was discovered in a back room.

The home, with a no trespassing sign posted outside, was located just yards away from the Fairmont Private school on Fruit.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputies and Fresno Fire responded to the scene, an explosives team was brought in and rendered it safe.
