FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Pamela Chimenti, the mother of 30-year-old Michael Ryan Flores, appeared on HLN show Prime Time Justice Wednesday night, as her son seeks to sue 58-year-old Cregg Jerri, who struck him over the head with a chair, when he tried to hold up a Starbucks, back in July.
Flores entered the Starbucks wearing a Transformers Optimus Prime mask, and armed with a knife, along with what turned out to be a toy gun.
After a struggle, Jerri managed to get a hold of Flores’ knife, as stabbed him 17 times.
Prime Time Justice host Ashleigh Banfield didn’t buy the claim that Flores is a victim, merely because he became addicted to pain killers prescribed after a motorcycle accident, and needed money.
Chimenti insisted that Banfield should “do her homework,” and claimed that the 17 stab wounds inflicted by Jerri — who also was stabbed and required staples — amount to excessive force.
