FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — At least it wasn’t a bridge collapse caused, in part, by a buildup of pigeon dung.

Instead, it was a failed light pole, corroded by urine.

The 3-story-tall lamp post snapped Monday night in San Francisco, landed on a nearby car, and almost crushed the driver.

The Public Utilities Commission says it encourages people and pets to “do their business” in a proper restroom, or on a fire hydrant, which is stronger, and made out of cast iron.
