FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A former middle school campus supervisor is found guilty of 15 counts of child molestation.
30 year-old Luis Lopez from Dinuba was found guilty of 11 felony counts of lewd acts upon a child age fourteen and fifteen and four felony counts of lewd act upon a child under the age of fourteen. The jury also found true the special allegation of substantial sexual conduct.
The crimes took place during 2013 and 2014, occurring at various locations of Valley Oak Middle School in Visalia during school hours.
The victims were two girls, one was between fourteen and fifteen years old at the time of the sexual assaults, the other child victim, was thirteen years old at the time.
Sentencing is set for September, Lopez faces more than 21 years in state prison.
Lopez will also be required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
