(KMJ) – Former Fresno State Bulldog Aaron Judge blew away the competition at the MLB Home Run Derby on Monday night. The New York Yankee outfielder hit 47 homers in all on his way to the title. In the final round, Judge took down Miguel Sano of the Twins, eclipsing his 10 homers with a little less than two minutes still left on the clock.
“I had a lot of fun,” said Judge after the competition on ESPN. “[There was] a lot of good guys out here. I hope the fans enjoyed the show. This was an awesome atmosphere.”
Judge hit four home runs more than 500 feet in the competition. The MLB Home Run Derby title can go along with the College Home Run Derby title that he won as a part of the Diamond ‘Dogs, back in 2012.
