FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Allegations of elder abuse at a care home in Porterville.
Police Officers responded to the home in the 1600 block of West McComb Avenue.
Detectives determined that three elderly men and one elderly female were being improperly cared for with allegations of abuse.
The homeowner, 66 year-old Juan Ledesma of Porterville was booked at the Tulare County Jail for Elder Abuse and is being held in lieu of a $1,000,000 bail.
The clients of the home were transported to Sierra View Medical Center for medical evaluations.
APS has since placed all of them in new care facilities.
